  • 6 cup uncooked Hinode White Enriched Extra Long Grain rice (uncooked)

  • 3 Chicken (about 4 pounds)

  • cup roma (halved)

  • 9 clove garlic

  • 3 Medium Onion (diced)

  • 1½ cup Carrots (diced)

  • 1½ cup Corn (fresh or frozen)

  • 1½ cup Green Chilies (diced)

  • cup olive oil

  • cup Chicken Broth

  • chile powder

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Cilantro (to garnish)

Long Grain

White long grain rice is your go to grain for a versatile dish. It has long, slender grains, that when cooked, remain separate. This results in a light and fluffy rice that absorbs the flavours of your cooking. It is the perfect partner to a stir-fry, casserole or a stew.

  • Blend roma tomatoes, 1 clove of garlic, ½ onion, and 1 cup of chicken broth until smooth.

  • Sieve tomato mixture into a large bowl - pushing solids to extract as much juice as possible.

  • Reserve juice in the bowl; discard solids.
