Black Sesame Rice with Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for 4 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 4 cup Hinode Rice (any variety) (uncooked)

  • lb Chicken (cubed (approx. 3 breasts))

  • 16 Bamboo Skewers

  • 16 tbsp Teriyaki Marinade

  • 8 Green Onions (sliced)

  • 8 tsp Black Sesame Seeds

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.

  • Prepare Hinode rice per package instructions.

  • Thread chicken onto skewers then place onto a baking tray lined with aluminum foil.

  • Pour the marinade over the chicken and marinade for 15 minutes turning the chicken 2 or 3 times.

  • Place chicken into the oven until cooked through, turning once or twice.

  • Add 3/4 of the green onion and sesame seeds to rice.

  • Serve chicken skewers on bed of rice and garnish with remaining green onions and sesame seeds.
