Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for 4 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 8 cup Hinode White Rice (cooked, any variety)

  • 8 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 4 lb chicken (sliced)

  • 8 clove garlic (crushed)

  • 2 cup squash ((your choice))

  • 2 cup Green Beans (fresh or frozen)

  • 2 cup Carrots (julienne)

  • 1 cup Red Onion (sliced)

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 cup vegetable stock

  • 1 bunch basil (fresh or dry, chopped)

Method

  • Sauté oil, chicken and garlic until fully cooked.

  • Add vegetables, brown sugar and stock - simmer until vegetables are tender.

  • Add cooked rice and sauté until heated.

  • Garnish with basil and serve.
