Spanish-Style Chorizo

Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for 4 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 8 cup Hinode Rice (any variety) (cooked)

  • 8 tbsp Vegetable Oil

  • 8 Chorizo Sausages (sliced)

  • 4 Celery Sticks (sliced on an angle)

  • 1 bunch Fresh Thyme

  • 2 oz can Tomatoes (diced, )

  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Method

  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add sausage and celery, stir until sausage is cooked, approximately 5 minutes.

  • Add thyme and tomatoes and simmer for another 5 minutes.

  • Add cooked Hinode rice into pan and mix all ingredients together.

  • Season to taste and serve.
